We second that.
There's a boaters' party tonight (Saturday 7th), just downstream from the Brampton GOBA moorings. All boaters are welcome. (Except snooty, stuck up boaters, of course. You'd be better off going to the Mill and sit there complaing about the rest of us having a good ole, boaty shin-dig).

Any chance on changing the black background, it is quite difficult to read especially if using a laptop on reduced brightness to save power..

There's been some "developments" since you went away. Splittest elements (thought to be mainstream goba plants), have destablised the "project"; taking advantage of weak leadership and the holiday absence of critical staff officers - I have staged a devastating and coup d'etat.
PS. You missed an absolute blinder at the Goba birthday bash. Petronius spent the whole weekend slagging himself and goba2020 off to anyone who would listen. It was side splitting funny to watch. I'm sure Roy's on to him, he was being distinctly frosty towards the end. Old Grumpy Pants gave him a few funny looks too. And Pamela definitely knows but kept shtum...
Oh well, It's October the 2nd and it looks like the new GOBA Forum has been pulled?? There was a little animosity between some of the old and new forum members, in as much as some of the old die hard members thought they could bully a newer member by criticizing her & others comments, just because they were lighthearted and slightly off topic. There was an excellent response from her and it was suggested that the forum was unwelcoming and unfriendly,a view that I have to agree with. But it seems that somebody at the top didn't like it as the forum has been closed. Perhaps there is room for a breakaway forum, where people can debate, that doesn't get shut down at the slightest sign of a disagreement.
